Thomas Partey Joins Arsenal, As He Parts With Atletico Madrid.

The Vise captain of the Black Stars of Ghana, Thomas Partey, goes on transfer from Atletico Madrid to Arsenal on a £45Million fee.

The 27 years old defensive midfielder signed with Atletico Madrid in 2011, but due to an on and off form, he was mostly with the clubs youth team. He finally came back on the main team with a better form on the 28th of November, 2015 as he was substituted to play in a match against Espanyol. During his time with Atletico Madrid, he scored 47 league goals for his team and made a total of 188 appearances. He also won both Europa league and Super Cup in 2018 and was a Champions League runner up in 2016.
